Build a Robust and Secure Home Broadband System

Digital Home Network.1.png

The Smart Home of the Future will be largely automated to make life simple for it's inhabitants. Trends indicate that a typical family home will contain 500 smart devices by 2022.

Analysts expect a Smart Home to include all entertainment to be streamed, lighting to sync with your mood, security to be controlled by video analytic, energy use optimized to save costs. All this is expected to be controlled via voice and triggered events.

Unfortunately smart devices are not always interoperable with devices based on different networking protocols like WiFi, Zigbee, Zwave, Bluetooth.

With proliferation of so many devices, come the concerns over data usage, security and privacy

Devices in the smart home will demand connectivity and reliability as they'll be performing vital functions such as health monitoring, so homes will require reliable high-speed Internet connections. If these connections fail, many domestic devices might be forced to operate in, at best, a degraded manner. If homes become as dependent on good connectivity as businesses they will need fallback systems.

So build a Home Broadband Network that can deliver:

  • High speeds
  • Robustness
  • Data Usage
  • Security
  • Privacy
  • Failsafe
